SF Local Tickets

Hi, I’m Joel Reske. I put on a lot of small events around San Francisco. Weekly line dancing in the Lower Haight, community dinners, neighborhood gatherings. The kind of thing held together by volunteers, a borrowed space, and a group text.

Selling tickets was always the annoying part. On a $20 ticket, the fees add up to a share that feels silly for what the event actually is, and the big platforms are built for something much larger than what I’m doing.

So I made this instead. It does the handful of things a small event needs and nothing else: a page you can send around, checkout, a confirmation email, a guest list, and check-in at the door. Hosts connect their own Stripe account and get paid directly. I don’t take a cut.

It’s small on purpose. I run it for people and organizations I know, so there’s no sign-up page.
